melissa villalobos

Hello, I’m Miss Melissa. I first came to L.A. Dance when I was 9 years old, and have been taking and/or teaching classes here ever since. After graduating High School I took a number of dance classes at Lindenwood University where I was introduced to the modern dance company, MADCO.  As a professional dancer I had the opportunity to learn from and train with amazing choreographers and teachers and even got the chance to perform in NYC and Toronto, Canada.  Dance has always been a huge part of my life and I have found so many different outlets to use this art.  From inner city mentorship to dancing at local churches and teaching dance fitness classes (Mondays 7-8 – Come join us!), dance has truly been a gift in my life that I love to share with others.  I am so privileged to be a part of this dance family, that’s what we are here. When I’m not dancing you can find me homeschooling my 4 kids, playing Skip-Bo with my husband, Jim, or organizing something at my church right up the road.
